Abstract

Two new sesquiterpenoids (1 and 2), together with two known sesquiterpenoids (3 and 4), were isolated from agarwood originated from Aquilaria sp. Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic methods including 1D and 2D NMR, IR, HRESIMS, and comparison with the literatures. All compounds were evaluated for cytotoxicity against five human cancer cell lines, but none of them displayed significant activity.
