Abstract
Two new phenolic glycosides were isolated from the seeds of Cucurbita moschata. Their structures were elucidated as (2-hydroxy)phenylcarbinyl 5-O-benzoyl-β-d-apiofuranosyl(1 → 2)-β-d-glucopyranoside (1) and 4-β-d-(glucopyranosyl hydroxymethyl)phenyl 5-O-benzoyl-β-d-apiofuranosyl(1 → 2)-β-d-glucopyranoside (2) on the basis of spectroscopic analysis and chemical evidence.
