Colleen Swain
Dr. Colleen Swain, Associate Director, Associate Professor, and Graduate Coordinator for the School of Teaching & Learning at the University of Florida, grounds her work in the Curriculum, Teaching, and Teacher Education, Secondary Education, and Teacher Leadership for School Improvement program areas. These roles and program areas allow Dr. Swain to shape her scholarship using connections of theory, administration, practice, and service to advance teaching and learning for all students and educators. Her research interests include social justice, school improvement, and the combination of culturally responsive pedagogy and classroom management and educational technology for secondary students.
