Emily A. Nusbaum teaches courses in disability studies in education and has collaboratively developed interdisciplinary certificates and programs in disability studies at undergraduate and graduate levels. Her research focuses on the advancement of critical, qualitative research through the centering of the disabled bodymind and disabled researchers, the ideology of inclusive education, as well as collaborative writing about the experience of epistemic violence, which becomes personal violence, in the academy.
