Abstract

A three components Povarov reaction of aromatic aldehyde, cyclobutanone, and 1H-indazol-5-amine or 1H-indazol-6-amine is described, and gives fused polycyclic heterocycles containing pyrazoloquinoline analogue in good yields catalyzed by iodine.
