Abstract

We reported herein efficient green procedures for the synthesis of arene-linked bis(azoles) and bis(azines) using bis(enaminone) as a key intermediate. For this purpose, bis(enaminone) were reacted with different nucleophiles under a pressurized reaction “Q-tube system” to afford the target bis(azoles) and bis(azines). The structures of the target compounds were confirmed via considering their elemental analyses as well as their spectral data. The used protocol shows a beneficial effect on the reaction time and yields compared to conventional conditions.
