Abstract

Silver nanowire transparent conductive film (AgNWs TCF) is primarily composed of substrate, silver nanowire network conductive layer (ANCL), and top coating (OCL: over coating layer). Due to its excellent photoelectric and mechanical performances, it finds wide applications in flexible touch displays, biosensors, solar cells, etc. However, certain limitations are hindering its broader application, such as oxidation and silver migration. This review initially focuses on the key performance indexes and their evaluation methods. Subsequently, the stability failure issues of AgNWs and ANCL are elaborated in detail. Furthermore, the corresponding stability improvement strategies and research progress are discussed: Improving substrate stability; Protecting AgNWs; Protecting ANCL; and Post-process of film formation. According to the film-forming process and scene, systematic improvement strategies are proposed to effectively enhance the stability of AgNWs TCF. This review serves as a reference for research on AgNWs TCF stability while promoting multi-scene and large-scale applications.
