ABSTRACT

The essential oil of the leaves of lemon (Citrus limon) growing in Nigeria, which was produced by water distillation, was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Fifteen mono and sesquiterpenoids were identified. Neral, geranial and limonene were the major components.
