Abstract
Pentaceras australe (F. Muell.) Benth. gave a leaf oil, in 0.1–0.3% yield, in which the principal components were α-bisabolol (0.3–18%, the majority being < 14%), β-elemene (11–25%), germacrene D (13–25%) and sesquicineole (4–7%).
