Volatile Oil Constituents of Campomanesia phaea (O. Berg) Landrum. (Myrtaceae)

Abstract

The oil of fresh leaves of Campomanesia phaea (O. Berg) Landrum from São Paulo (Brazil) Atlantic forest, was obtained by hydrodistillation and analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The main components of the oil were caryophyllene oxide (11.7%), linalool (11.1%) and β-selinene (6.9%).
