Abstract

Video‐taped speeches of students completing a Fundamentals of Speech course and of students who had not had the course were shown in a randomized order to expert raters who evaluated the bodily action of the speakers. The students who had completed the course in speech were evaluated higher in bodily action than were the students in the control group.
