Topics, turns, and interpersonal control using serial judgment methods

Abstract

Serial judgment techniques capture the on‐line, dynamic judgments of participants or observers as they experience an interaction. Two studies are reported that apply serial judgment methods to demonstrate how moment‐to‐moment changes in behaviors are associated with moment‐to‐moment changes in observers’ perceptions of interpersonal dominance.
