Corporeality and cultural rhetoric: A site for rhetoric's future

Abstract

Instead of taking each essay on its own terms in fashioning a response, I will, in what follows, advance an argument with respect to the central question I see emerging from these essays: If rhetoric is to re‐fashion itself in responding to a culturally diverse world, what kind of theoretical orientation might it find as its “site” from which to appraise rhetoric?
