Editorial note

I am very happy to publish the collection of extended abstracts of the talks delivered by our distinguished colleagues at the annual meeting held at National Institute of Aerospace, Hampton, Virginia on 12 August 2020. Our colleagues from NASA-Goddard, NASA-Langley, William & Mary, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Old Dominion University, National Institutes of Aerospace, Virginia Tech, and also from Kyoto University, Japan; University of Saskatchewan, Canada; IFP, Italy and UNAM, Mexico joined us to deliver 15 talks to discuss interdisciplinary topics ranging dusty, space and fusion plasmas, fluid dynamics, robotics etc. I would like to thank all the contributing colleagues and their co-authors for their sincere works which went into producing this excellent collection.
