Corrigendum

Since publication, the authors have identified two errors in the equations that appear on p. 142. Taylor & Francis are pleased to be able to correct the record herewith, viz.,

1. [page 142, line 10]: The result of E _ing equation appeared as ‘385 mSv for an adult person’. This is incorrect. The result of E _ing should be ‘385 nSv’.

2. page 142, line 12 : The text reads ‘That level fell to 385 mSv y⁻¹’. This is incorrect. The text should read ‘That level fell to 385 nSv⁻¹ in 2008’.
