THE REACTION OF 2,4=BIS(4-METHOXYPHENYL)- 1,3,2,4-DITHIADIPHOSPHETANE-2,4- DISULPHIDE (LAWESSON'S REAGENT, LR)WITH SOME S-TRIAZOLE DERIVATIVES. SYNTHESIS OF S-TRIAZOLE-FUSED P-HETEROCYCLES

Abstract

Lawesson's reagent (LR, 1) reacted with 3-(O-hydroxy-, O-amino- and O-methylamino-substituted)phenyl-4-hydroxy(phenylamino)-5-mercapto(methylthio)-1,2,4-triazoles 2_a-f and 4_a-f to afford the fused systems 3_a-f and 5_a-f, respectively. A similar treatment of 1 with 3-(O-hydroxy-,O-amino- and O-methylamino- substituted)phenyl-5-mercapto(benzylthio)-1,2,4-triazoles 6_a-c and 8_a-c gave the condensed systems 7_a-c and 9 _a-c, respectively.
