Abstract

The solventless oxidation of benzaldehydes to carboxylic acids using oxone/wet-alumina under microwave irradiations is described.

Notes

a Irradiation time 9 min for all benzaldehydes.

b All products are known and were characterized by comparing their physical and spectroscopic data with those of authentic samples.
