Abstract
C-acyl-N-phenyllhydrazonoyl halides 1a–ghave been caused to react with 3-(aminomethylthiomethyl)-2H-chromen-2-one in the presence of triethylamine to give triazoles. Also, C-acyl-N-pyrazolylhydrazonoyl chlorides 13a, breact with alkyl carbodithioates (14or 15) a–mafforded 2,3-dihydro-1,3,4-thiadiazoles in good yields. Structures of the new compounds were elucidated on the basis of elemental analyses, spectral data, and alternative methods of synthesis whenever possible.
