Abstract
The crystal structure of (2-Me 2 NCH 2 C 6 H 4 ) 2 TeO was determined by X-ray diffraction on a single crystal. The crystal symmetry is monoclinic, space group P2 1 , with unit cell dimensions a = 9.2274(2), b = 10.1749(2), c = 11.5339(3) Å, β = 109.952°, V = 1017.90(4) Å 3 and Z = 2. The structure has been solved and refined down to wR 2 = 0.0625, using 3675 independent reflections. The compound consists of isolated molecules with two intramolecular Te· · · N interactions of 2.565(4) and 2.755(6) Å stabilizing the tellurium atom.
