Abstract

We present a short overview of our recent work on the synthesis of o-amino- and o-amido phosphonic acid esters of electron-deficient aromatic nitrogen heterocycles by Pd-catalyzed phosphonylation and on the subsequent conversion to heterocyclically anellated five-membered P˭C‒N heterocycles.
