Preparation of New Phosphoranes by Chemoselective Reaction of Acetylenic Esters with Compounds Containing Two Nitrogen Atoms

Abstract

Chemoselective reaction of P˭C bond formation through the direct coupling of acetylenic esters with N-ethyl-N′-propionylurea or N-acetylthiourea in the presence of PPh₃ have been realized under mild conditions. The present protocol provides an attractive synthesis to a diverse range of succinic esters containing the urea moiety, and its derivatives, in good yields.
