Synthesis and Crystal Structure of 2-Substituted 3-Aryl-2-Oxophenylbenzo[E]-1,4,2-Oxazaphosphinanes

Abstract

Stereoisomers of 2-substituted 3-aryl-2-oxobenzo[e]-1,4,2-oxazaphosphinane derivatives were obtained by the phosphorylation of 2-arylideneaminophenols with dichlorophenylphosphine in the presence of triethylamine followed by the water treatment, which were isolated by column chromatography as pure diastereoisomers. Their structure was determined by NMR and XRD.
