ABSTRACT
Reaction of P-chloroylides with carbonyl compounds leads to the formation of four-membered phosphorus heterocycles—2λ5-chloro-2,2-oxaphosphetanes. The 2-chloro-2,2-oxaphosphetanes depending on substituent R at α-atom carbon, rearrange with formation of 2-chloroalkylphosphonates (R = H, Alk, Ar) or with elimination of trimethylchlorosilane (R = Me3Si) convert into trans-phosphorylated alkenes.
