ABSTRACT
Polycyclic cage-like amides of As, Sb, and Bi are still very rare, especially those containing different group 15 elements. The first polycyclic amide containing both the elements As and Sb was synthesized in 1994. The same polycyclic amide as well as further compounds with different substitution patterns were now successfully synthesized by a new synthetic route and characterized by X-ray diffraction methods, 1H, 13C, 1H/15N-cosy NMR spectroscopy, and by means of mass spectrometry.
