ABSTRACT
A series of novel 2-oxo-1,2-diphenylethylidene hydrazinyl thiadiazinyl-2H-chromen-2-ones (shown in ) have been synthesized via multicomponent approach by the reaction of equimolar amount of benzil (1), thiocarobohydrazide (2), and substituted of 3-(2-bromoacetyl)-2H-chromen-2-ones (3a-i) in a shorter reaction time with good yields. All these compounds were characterized by their spectral and analytical data like IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and mass spectra.
