Abstract

Some novel bis(2,3-disubstituted cyclopropyl)benzenes and pyridines have been synthesized by the cycloaddition of arylthiocarbenes to some Michael acceptors under phase transfer conditions. The structures of the new compounds were established by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and mass spectral data.
