Abstract

Une méthode générale d'accès à des 4,4″-dialkyl a-terthiophènes a été développée. Elle permet en outre d'atteindre aisément à partir d'α-terthiophènes dibromés des α-quinquéthiophènes symétriquement hi et tétrasubstitués adaptés à I'étude des mécanismes de polymérisation électrochimique.

4,4″-dialkyl α-terthiophenes have been conveniently synthetized. Substituted α-quinquethiophenes are easily obtained from specifically dibrominated a-terthiophenes and are excellent models for electrochemical polymerization studies.
