Abstract

Tertiary phosphines (RCH₂CH₂)₃P (R=aryl, heteroaryl) have been obtained in good yields by nucleophilic addition of potassium phosphide, generated from red phosphorus, potassium and t-butanol in liquid ammonia, to aryl- and heteroarylethenes
