Abstract
This investigation compared advanced standing and regular two-year MSW graduates with respect to their employment history, evaluations of their graduate education, and perceptions of the relevancy of their education for jobs obtained after graduation. Results indicated only one difference between the two groups: advanced standing students' areas of specialization and what they chose for their second job were less congruent than for two-year graduates. Results are explained from a socialization perspective.
