Abstract

This paper describes results of a survey of 133 students in a large MSW program regarding the training and experiences students have had with computers in their practica and elsewhere. Also described are students' attitudes about and interests in computer applications for human service activities. The study also explores the value of these findings in guiding decisions about curriculum planning, practica development, computer resource expenditures and management, and faculty and agency involvement in this emerging area.
