Abstract

Social work knowledge is developed through critical inquiry and organized research and typically is transmitted in scholarly endeavors such as publications and conference or workshop presentations. The current study examined the content of the scholarly works of 85 undergraduate program directors to assess contributions to the development of knowledge. Findings showed that the topic social work education emerged predominantly in both publications and conference or workshop presentations of these undergraduate educators.
