Abstract
Two crops per year of Litopenaeus vannamei were cultured in 0.8-hectare ponds at a stocking density of 37.5 PL/m2. The first culture period (93 days) ran from April to July 2010 and the second crop (110 days) ran from August to November 2010. Shrimp weight, survival, harvested weight, and feed conversion ratio were 13.5 g, 80%, 4,000 kg/ha and 1.2 for the first crop and 17.5 g, 85%, 5625 kg/ha and 1.09 for the second crop, respectively.
