Abstract
The vision of training school psychologists to serve a broad, preventative role has evolved through Blueprint I, Blueprint II, and the 2002 Conference on the Future of School Psychology with limited impact on the daily functioning of practitioners. Blueprint III is a multidimensional and integrated model for the training of school psychologists that more accurately represents the multifaceted functions that a school psychologist must integrate into daily work functions in delivering comprehensive and effective psychological services within schools. Is the desired shift to comprehensive service delivery a function of training and preparation or does the responsibility for change belong to practitioners within the field and the systems within which they work?
