Muriel Dimen (1942-2016)

Muriel Dimen, one of the founding editors of Psychoanalytic Dialogues, died on February 14, 2016. One of the central voices in the feminist re-construction of analysis over the last three decades, Dimen helped shape our vision and critical sensibility with both passion and precision. With dignity, toughness and empathy, she called our attention to taboo subjects and new possibilities, and was an untiring supporter of younger colleagues and new voices across the disciplines and continents. We are deeply indebted to Muriel for all she has contributed to the Journal and its community. We will miss her.
