Notes

1. This critical reflection is based on an interview on Zoom with Bryce Lease on 3 February 2022.

2. Details of previous programmes going back to 2015 are available on the website: https://exposure.dramaisrael.org/ (accessed March 3, 2022).

3. ‘I Don’t Want to See This’, Isra-Drama, https://exposure.dramaisrael.org/2019/i-dont-want-to-seethis/ (accessed March 3, 2022).

4. Rotem Volk and Dana Etgar, ‘Comfort Object’, Isra–Drama, https://exposure.dramaisrael.org/2021/comfort-object/ (accessed March 3, 2022).

5. For those who are interested in Hanoch Levin, three anthologies of his plays are published by Oberon Modern Playwrights.

6. Isra-Drama will be held in person in November 2022. However, as expectations grow, we might add performances to watch on-line as well as interviews which will be broadcasted. This combined live/broadcast format is our next challenge. I would like to acknowledge the work of the Chair of the Artistic Committee, Dr Roy Horovitz, and the festival producers, Chen Goldfarb (2020) and Sigal Cohen – connecting the dots (2021, 2022).
