Pages 11-19 | Published online: 22 May 2009

This investigation analyzes source and receiver apprehension at the junior high, senior high and college levels. The results substantiate that there are significant differences on a majority of the items on the PRCA and RAT among educational levels, within sexes across educational levels and between males and females at each educational level. There are significant correlations among pre‐test PRCA and RAT scores and among post‐test PRCA and RAT scores at each educational level. Significant differences also occurred for the main effects of sex and interaction effects on composite RAT scores.
