Regular article

The five themed articles are introduced by Mike and Jennifer. The issue concludes with a regular article entitled “Resource Complementarity and IT Economies of Scale: Mechanisms and Empirical Evidence.” Authors Ulco Woudstra, Egon Berghout, Chee-Wee Tan, Patrick van Eekeren, and Guido Dedene report on their study, which identifies and analyzes economy of scale effects in IT management. The findings reveal that by devoting at least 60% of total IT budget on IT infrastructure, organizations can realize economies of scale in the IT conversion process and extract strategic benefits.
