Abstract
Dependence of thermal properties on the crystallization behaviors of (1−x)CaAl2Si2O8-xCaMgSi2O6 glass-ceramics was investigated as a function of CaMgSi2O6 content (x). Crystallization behaviors of the specimens were depended on the CaMgSi2O6 content (x) which could be evaluated by the degree of crystallization obtained from the difference of peak temperature of crystallization (Tp ) from onset temperature of crystallization (Tc ), area of Tp of DTA curve and Challa-Hermans-Weidinger equation. The thermal diffusivity of the specimens was increased with the CaMgSi2O6 content (x), while the thermal conductivity was decreased up to x = 0.3, and then increased.
