The authors requested the retraction of their paper published in Integrated Ferroelectrics, 2011, 127: 150–156 for the unintentional duplicate publication produced by the corresponding author's oversight. Upon a thorough investigation, it has been determined that the paper titled “Synthesis and Electrochemical Properties of Y-Doped LiNi1/3Mn1/3Co1/3O2 Cathode Materials for Li-Ion Battery” by Yanwei Li, Yuexiao Li, Shengkui Zhong (corresponding author), Fengpeng Li, and Jianwen Yang, printed in Volume 127, Issue 1, pages 150–156 of Integrated Ferroelectrics was previously published with minor variations under the same title in Volume 28, Special Issue “2010 (National Meeting about Metallurgical Physical Chemistry in 2010, Ma’anshan, China)”, April 2010, pages 293-296 of the Journal of the Chinese Rare Earth Society.

As a result the article published in Integrated Ferroelectrics has been retracted and should not be cited in the electronic or print version of the journal.
