Abstract

Preparative methods and thermal stability of disubstituted LC acetylenes with a -C≡C- or -CH2CH2-C≡C- bridge between cyclohexyl and fluorobiphenyl moieties are described. The degradation products resulting from heating at 150[ddot]C in air or a vacuum were analyzed.
