Abstract
Among many parameters relating image quality, neutron fluence and signals prior to the handling of observed signals are considered in this report. A relation between signals and their qualities on neutron images is studied considering neutron fluence and its statistical character, effective neutron energy, and the characteristics of the neutron detection systems. Geometrical parameters of the neutron beam are discussed as are importantparameters in characterizing image quality.
