Pages 43-57 | Published online: 06 Sep 2017

Abstract

This article assesses the level of threats to Russia’s technological security due to a high level of import dependence in the metalworking machinery market. Based on analysis of the existing state of the Russian market, we outline the set of possibilities for substituting imports of this kind of machinery, which will ultimately provide for a substantial reduction in threats to the country’s technological security.
