Ellen Santora

Ellen Santorais an assistant professor of curriculum and teaching at the University of Rochester. She coordinates the secondary social studies education program and is the Director of the American History as Dialogue Project. Her research explores students' and teachers'cross-cultural interaction in social studies settings and the experiences of teachers and student teachers as they attempt to bridge theories and practices of democratic education.

Carolyn H. Livingston

Carolyn H. Livingston is a doctoral student in the Center for the Study of Higher Education at the University of Virginia. Her research interests include barriers to higher education, student access, and faculty diversity.

Mara Sapon-Shevin

Mara Sapon-Shevin is professor of Inclusive Education at Syracuse University in Syracuse New York. Her areas of interest include teaching for social justice, teacher education, and using the arts to teach to end oppression.
