ABSTRACT

We introduce the highly performance novel of Graphene as a transparent electrode wrapped La2CrFeW6 perovskite solar cells dropping by CdSe quantum dot (LCW@G-CS)for counter electrodes (CEs) of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs). The device exhibits a high power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 17.03% under AM1.5 solar irradiation condition. These results demonstrate that the LCW@G-CShas high optical transmittance, flexible, stable and lightweight solar cells. Moreover, a significant efficiency enhancement of solar cells by utilizing CdSe quantum dots attached to reduced graphene oxide (rGO) as the electron accepting phase are also discussed. The improvement is mainly due to CdSe has the ideal band gap to match the solar spectrum, which enables it to absorb a wide range of light wavelengths. For this reason, this material is particularly suitable to be the alternative material to solve the energy problem in the future.
