Statement of Retraction

This article refers to:
RETRACTED ARTICLE: Perceptions of radicalisation in mental health care and the security domain: roles, responsibilities, and collaboration

The editors of the journal Psychology, Crime, and Law have made the decision to retract the article listed below:

  •   Sizoo, B., Doosje, B., & van Meijel, B. (2022). Perceptions of radicalisation in mental health care and the security domain: roles, responsibilities, and collaboration. Psychology, Crime & Law, 1–18. DOI:10.1080/1068316X.2022.2030333

After publishing this article, the editors learned that the authors had published a very similar article in the journal Tijdschrift voor Psychiatrie.
  •   Sizoo, B., Doosje, B., & van Meijel, B. (2022). Percepties over radicalisering en psychiatrie in de relatie tussen ggz en veiligheidsdomein. Tijdschrift voor Psychiatrie, 64(1), 12–17.

The two articles were based on the same sample, involved the same methodology, and overlapped substantially in analyses and conclusions. The authors did not inform the editorial team at Psychology, Crime and Law of the other article during the review process. Our decision in this matter was informed by guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (C.O.P.E.) concerning duplicate publication.
