In volume 26, issue 2, we publish three articles on three diverse topics. The first paper is a review paper that focuses on supply chain quality and supply chain integration. This paper focuses on analytical models developed by various researchers. We like to publish review papers from time to time, as they always demonstrate where the field has been and suggest directions for future research. According to the authors, “the pending issues to be solved in analytical modeling of SCQM coordination and integration are focused on how to develop dynamic models that incorporate a greater number of factors and agents in supply chains.” This will result in a more detailed understanding of complex supply chains.
The second paper studies the effect of a corporation social responsibility approach on the performance of small manufacturers. “The results show that the implementation of environmental or ethical certification enables SMEs to increase the added value, improve their turnover, and boost the productivity of their financial capitals.”
The third paper studies Six Sigma in small and medium-sized enterprises. As usual, Nicole Radziwill has coordinated some great book reviews. We appreciate her contributions.
