Steve Ellner
Steve Ellner has taught economic history at the Universidad de Oriente in Venezuela since 1977 and has been a frequent contributor to the NACLA Report on the Americas since the late 1980s. His latest books are Rethinking Venezuelan Politics: Class, Conflict and the Chávez Phenomenon (Lynne Rienner, 2008) and the edited volume Latin America's Radical Left: Challenges and Complexities of Political Power in the Twenty-First Century (Rowman & Littlefield, 2014).
