Aldo Marchesi

Aldo Marchesi received his Ph.D. from New York University in 2012 and teaches history at the Universidad de la República (Montevideo, Uruguay). He is the Director of the Uruguayan Interdisciplinary Studies Center (CEIU), a specialized center on Uruguayan recent history. His most recent book is Latin America’s Radical Left: Rebellion and Cold War in the Global 1960s (Cambridge University Press, 2018).
