Every Thursday since 1988 Israeli women have demonstrated against the occupation of the West Bank and Gaza. They work in coalition with Palestinian women and others. These two women, among 30 women present, were in Haggar Square in West Jerusalem. The woman on the right with the large hat identified as an Israeli Palestinian Jew. “What an identity crisis I must have,” she humorously said. PHOTO BY ALAN POGUE
