Abstract
An estimated 17 to 37 million Americans struggle with sexual addiction (CitationCarnes, 1994; CitationCooper, Delmonico, & Burg, 2000; CitationMorris, 1999; CitationWolfe, 2000), the majority of those being heterosexual men (CitationCooper, Delmonico, & Burg, 2000). The following article reflects the results of a pilot study group focused on the use of the trauma egg as an intervention, for three Caucasian women married to sexually addicted men. Emergent themes resulting from the processing of the trauma egg intervention, as well as recommendations for future research, are presented.
